Oxford Bibliographies is an online database published by Oxford University Press which offers carefully curated and annotated articles on selected key terms in academic research. One of the latest entries in Oxford Bibliographies is the article on “Digital Interculturality”, written jointly by the ReDICo team.

In mid-2025, we were happy to accept the request from the editors of Oxford Bibliographies to write an encyclopedia entry on the new field of research known as digital interculturality. The result is an annotated bibliography with concise introductory and explanatory texts that highlight the links between D.I. and other scientific fields: sociolinguistics, intercultural education, migration studies, cosmopolitanism, and digital anthropology. Each topic is accompanied by explanations of circa 400 words and a list of up to 10 annotated reading recommendations. The double-blind reviewed article was published in February 2026. The introduction and overview of the topic are available as open access, but a subscription is required to access the full article.
